Tips for Parents

Get better, faster results by including these practical guidelines.

  •   No scary movies; nightmares make for sleep deprivation.
  •   Much, much less television.  Replace it with family interaction.
  •   No junk food or sugary snacks.
  •   Plenty of fruits, vegetables and exercise.
  •   Plenty of jobs and responsibilities around the house.
  •  Children should never hear complaining; it’s catching!
  •   Children should never hear gossip; it’s catching and extremely distracting to classmates if they bring it to school.

If these recommendations seem unreasonable, read about the parents who did make these changes in their children’s habits and see the results they got with better state test scores and classroom behavior.  Click on “Experiences” and scroll down to “Parents are Gifted, Too!
